It's in the 50s here, not too warm, just got in the tree little while ago. If I don't see any tonight, I will blame the switching wind and all the hunters I got on trail cam. Lol... had to try it though.

My farms in TN are dead since the rut ended. But it's like that every year.

Here in south MS the deer are in the same pattern as early Oct TN deer. Bucks still in bachelor groups and strictly nocturnal. I was seeing a few does move in daylight until gun season opened and a couple of them plus a spike got shot, now even the does are nocturnal.

Havent seen a deer in the last 3 hunts here in MS

Hard to believe the rut is over for anyone in TN. Bucks still have the antlers and certainly not every doe has been bred.

It is on my place, but you would prob have to see it to believe. Maybe a random doe hasn't come in first estrus, but vast majority of does are back in family groups of 6 to 8. Old bucks are mostly nocturnal again. Young bucks are still active in daylight. The next 2 weeks will be dead on my places for old deer till 2nd rut starts to kick in. Then it's on fire all over.
