Mine was on clearance last week (season ended May 1 here). All the TSS and LBXR sold out at reg WM prices, but they didnt have a lot to start with. Some decoys on sale, some mouth calls on sale for $5 (way too rich for my blood). But nothing worth buying. For whatever reason, my local WM just didnt stock much for turkey season this spring to start with.
Yeah but some folks are desperate to find "afforable" tss shells
So just passing it along for that

My local Walmart doesn't stock TSS shells anyway
Just walked out of my local Walmart in South MS with the last 6 boxes of Win LBXR 3" 5's (didn't have 6's) for $11 per box. They had 3.5" for the same price as well. Unfortunately, I missed the $5 per box rebate by 2 days.
I have enough TSS for my 20 ga to last me a long time but now I can dismantle my 12 ga TSS handloads and hunt with these if I ever get the urge to carry a 12 ga.

My entire life I have never been to a Walmart that has guns or anything hunting related stocked on it's shelves. But every day all I see in these hunting videos is some country boy walking into a Walmart and buying guns or something else cool.
Why was I born in a town with no cool Walmarts!?

i don't go there unless it's an absolute emergency for a meal. they refused to take a check from me on Christmas Eve years back & made Christmas look pretty skimpy for my kids. Sam Walton would strangle his kids/grandchildren if he saw what it has turned into... JMHO

i had to go there today, dang it! apparently, the only glass bottle Coca-Cola that Food City sells now are the 4-packs from Mexico. don't know if my wife would like them or not. anyone here tried them? they use a different kind of sugar from what i've read. wife wanted a Coke (in glass) on ice when i pick her up at the airport tomorrow...

I stopped by today- they haven't marked anything down yet in my area.

My understanding it is more focused on when corporate ships the new seasonal items and they need the space. The local manager has discretion regarding % discounted, but goal is to clear the space for max amount before the replacement stuff arrives.
My local walmart has a 'clearance' section close to home and garden for all departments in the store, and some stuff (even hunting stuff) ends up there.
$27/box here..
Same here. A hodgepodge of items.
Keep a check on them. They'll keep marking em down til they sell.

I went in the one on Joe B Jackson in Murfreesboro Tuesday to grab something and walked back to hunting. Only saw a few boxes of shells and nothing much seemed marked down then.
Used to be, they would try to liquidate as much seasonal items as possible before shipping the items back to a centralized distribution center for storage till next year or returns ti vendors.
When I was a single man, I knew a gal that was a department mgr that would help cover sporting goods when they would mark them down. They would take a little off each week to a certain percentage or value. She would have discretion to mark to lowest price. She would call me end of every season they did this to meet her there while working. She would occasionally take an offer from n big ticket items and enter in the pricing for me as a key punch error and I would get a great deal! Bought an API lock on on January for $7.

They use cane sugar in those, not corn syrup like they use here.
