Walleye/sauger in Little Pigeon River?

Anyone ever fish the pre-spawn run for walleye/sauger up the French Broad and adjacent tributaries?

I saw a few sauger and walleye come out at Swann's yesterday. Probably saw 2000 crappie too. By mid'Feburary the sauger and walleye should be at Point 18.
