Except for the faint sauger like markings, which is why I suppose you are asking. I wonder how a saugeye is marked(I have never seen one)?

Walleye...here is a good place to see pics of walleye, sauger, and sauger, along with many other species.

They key is in the dorsal fin, which is not shown in the picture, but the marking look like walleye to me.

Also the white tipped lower portion of the tail plus they ain't many sauger that get that big. Nice eye.

Just a shade too big to eat but walleye for sure.

sauger has a spot on each membrane between the front dorsal spines. Walleye does not, but has a larger dark spot at the rear of the front dorsal. But since we can't see the front dorsal(folded down), have to rely on the fact that sauger has so called "rattlesnake markings" vivid pattern,
on its sides, this walleye does not.
