i couldn't disagree more. crappie, trout, catfish, bluegills are all better than walleye. i have been known to cut them things up for bait so i could catch something worth eating.
never understood the yankee fish "seasons" either.
also tellico, norris,center hill and most of the area reservoirs have walleyes.

What's to understand about the walleye season? They close it for 2 months to let them spawn. What's the mystery? Also, you're doing something wrong it you don't think they taste good.
