Waiting on spring

Now that deer season is over I'm impatiently waiting on spring and done warmer weather. I mostly float the river and wade creeks and I've done caught myself starting to buy up and restock on baits. I'm ready to tear into the red eye and small mouth.

Me too. I used some Bass Pro gift cards to restock lures and when mid March gets here the canoe hits a river somewhere.

I'll be getting into some red eye soon, next time the creek comes up on a cloudy day and I'm not at work, I plan to catch a few to fry up. They school up in the winter

I told the wife tonight I was ready to put my bass boat up and get the kayaks out. Hopefully we can get out some with our little boy some. He will be he will be 20 months old in June.

Heck I sold my bass boat. I use my kayak so much more and the river is just a couple miles from the house.

I love fishing out the kayak. I haven't done it much in the last couple years but I plan on putting it to use again this year. I can see the river here from upstairs.

Gonna start my boat floor replacement next week.

Can't wait to troll from my kayak for JPP Crappie and also get in on the insane Hybrid Bass action that comes in mid April. Good times await!
