I've got a buddy that I meet halfway between Knoxville and Nashville (give or take an hour either way) to fish for a weekend every year. We usually can't do it until it's June/July so we like to wade and stay cool. Do y'all have any suggestions of good middle/Cumberland plateau rivers for wading?

Emory/Obed/Clear Creek? Haven't fished them, but hiking around them they look like a great places to fish. Maybe the Cumberland River thought Big South Fork or some of the creeks than connect into it?

When I was a kid I used to kill it wading the Caney Fork down Taylor's Chapel way. Not sure how you would get back in there now that Bowater pulled out.
own a place on the caney, taylors chapel area. lotta fun in the spring, but it dries to a trickle in late summer at our place.
