Where can I find some VV N110 for my Savage ML in SE TN? I've called the local gunstore and Sportsman's Warehouse. Anyone have any recs on someplace close to Chattanooga/Crossville/Cookeville area that I might be able to call?
Want to try to avoid the $20 hazmat fee if possible. Alternatively if anyone nearby wants a can of it and wants to split the fee, then I might be interested.

Sportsman's Warehouse was the only place I know of that stock VV powders locally without the hazmat fee. Some local dealers may be able to get you some from their suppliers without the fee but if you have to drive 20 miles considering gas cost to get to another store you might just as well pay the fee.
 
Good luck David, I think its hard to find everywhere right now. Guy told me yesterday that it was'nt being imported right now. I bought some 4759 for my savage ML just for that reason. Shot some this morning, done fine.

Thanks for the input fellas , I bought some IMR 4227 before I received the rifle based on a Sam Fadala article I found on the internet, didn't realize that opinions had changed regarding the powder and have read about the misfires some folks have with it. Makes me a little apprehensive to go through the trouble find a load for the rifle with 4227. Maybe I'll try to find an alternate from N110, or suck it up and try the 4227. I have a buddy using it and he swears by it and not at it.
 
I've used the IMR4227 for a few years without any problems. I do always use it with the Hornady 300 XTP and Winchester 209a primers which according to what I've read gives better results than the lighter bullets. No misfires with it so far. If you want to shoot lighter bullets you may want to get a canister of the AA5744. I've used it and the IMR4759 both for lighter loads and had no complaints.
