If it is the original Diamondback vs. the Crossfire 2 I would lean toward the Crossfire 2 because of the eye relief. I believe the original Diamondback and Crossfire 2 have similar glass. Both carry the same warranty. Now if it is the Diamondback HP you are talking about, Diamondback all the way.

I would go handle both scopes and compare the eye relief then make your decision based on what you think. I've looked through both and not impressed with either scope but like Rifleman said, the Diamond Back HP is a major improvement.
