Vols go into the 9th with a 3-0 lead and give up 6 unearned runs and lose 6-3 on a walk off home run. That's a gut punch to lose one like that especially at this level. Taking game 1 on the road would've been huge. Oh well hope they bounce back for game 2 and 3.

SEC is a wild place. They are almost too good in the big 3 sports now. Makes it fun but just adds more BVS.

It was bad. 2 errors bottom 9th by Curley. I wished I had went to bed early and not stayed up for that.. it was a pretty good game til then.

Couldnt believe the 1st game loss, I didnt stay up for it. 2nd game Vols got it done in good fashion. Series tied 1-1 game 3 today at 3pm SECn. Saw a pretty good exodus of LSU fans in 8th. Place was packed though should be overflowing today. Might be a chippy/attitude game today too - 1st and 2nd game had some interaction with players and crowd adds to it.

Softvols got it done in game 2 also and tied the series with Ole miss. Game 3 today at 2pm SECn+. Pickens close to 220 strike outs for the year.

Hopefully both teams get the series win (both need it).

I watched the TEX and TAM game at TEX-- that park is like watching a MLB game, amazing place was packed. Vols need the ongoing stadium upgrades for sure.

Bounced back and took game 2 then got run ruled in 8 innings 12-2 to lose the series.

Yeah the LSU loses not good. Facing good pitching Vols hitting couldnt get it figured out, LSU did. In the 1st game blow a 3run lead in the bottom of the 9th. 2nd game Vols win was good but overall this series Vols showed some weakness not seen so far alot or walks-- errors another one. I can see basevols dropping into the #7-9 ranking.

High note Softvols won their series, big series this weekend for the top 4 teams. I think softvols will stay at #1 leading to next weekend final series of reg season against a probably ranked #3-4 TEX AM. OK/TAM/TEX I think will be juggled for the 2-4 rankings with Vols being #1 (All 4 will host NCAA regional and super--if they win regionals)
