Big Ben has floated around the rumor he was done after last year.. His already came out & said his thinking about hanging them up after this year is over.. It could just be talk who knows...

Still pittsburg could be looking for a new QB in a couple years. A nice chance for Dobbs to show what his got to start preseason week#1 as a rookie....

Landry jones the #2 guy was the 3ed stringer himself for the first 2 years of his NFL career before moving to the #2 hole in 2015 since being with pittsburg Jones has played in 15 games started 4..... 1000 passing yards 7tds & 6ints Did sign a 2 year deal in March...

Great kid and hope he does well in the NFL. He will be missed on the hill because he carried the team last year.

I would like to see him stay in the NFL a long time and become a star. He's one of the classiest players ever. Tough as nails and smart not to mention an awesome athlete. He will kick tail in whatever he wants.
I can't believe I'll be pulling for the steelers again. I've hated them since rapetheburger got there.

Not a great start at all but in true Dobbs style he kept grinding. After the run he looked to have settled down and played much better. Would have had 2 TDs but one was called back for holding. His o-line didnt do him many favors either. There were guys coming through untouched.



Side note- Josh Malone just caught a TD from good ol Jeff Driskell. :tu:

Understandable. Hes been in the NFL what, 4 years now. With the same team.

Actually first game out in the NFL he did not look bad . Bounced back from those two interceptions. Not a lot of QB could have done that .

Dobbs has had an up and down pre season but he played pretty well against the Panthers tonight. Had a 58 yd bomb to former Vol Justin Hunter and then scored the game winning TD with a run near the goal line.

Its a shame he did not have a lot of tools surrounding him at Tn to help him shine to the level he is clearly able to play at.

Sorta reminds me of Dan Morino years at Miami . Perhaps one of the best NFL quarterbacks ever but never had the Oline to let home shine.
