Vin number location on 2001 Kawasaki Mule

Anyone have an idea where to find the vin number on a 2001 Kawasaki Mule? We have not had any luck finding it

I'm not 100% but I think you use the frame number (located under the seat) and the engine number (located on the top of the engine) to register that year models...if you have the owners manual it will say for sure or just give kawasaki customer service a ring.
