if you or I had done that we would already be in jail or even under the jail and loose hunting privileges for life. I would bet that they get off with a slap on the hand only because they are on a reservation.

Thanks for sharing. I'll have to send my buddy in Walla Walla, WA an email and tell him to get his tribal members in check. I'll be anxious to read his reply as he has a pretty dry sense of humor.

If it was out of season then they should face the same legal side that we all would. Secondly, I love to kill deer but it is my goal to do that in as humane a fashion as possible. Hitting a deer with a paddle or drowning it is in no way humane.

from what I understand, Indian reservations are not subject to state game laws. They have their own regulations and bag limits.

Yea, here in south Fl. they have a Miccosukee reservation. They are not subject to the state game laws. They can hunt all year by any means they choose. They also have a casino, lots of nice toys.

Gents, I just left Ft Lewis and I can tell you from experience and talking with the locals there that the Indians get away with murder out there. There do what they want and how they want on there land. No right at all, but in WA, the state DNR is partially to blame. The reason being, the state will restrict seasons, limits and methods and when they do the DNR will run to Rez and just get things handled through those channels. If you wanna see some unfair treatment to sportsman just go to WA state, you'll get all you can handle.
