Similar in ways to still pic cams but very different in ways too. If you do a exchanger it can get kinda tough. Good Luck!!

Most high end Cams ,including your L11 have a very short video Mode on it,The s40 has a real good one ,If I had a big enough card ,I could not justify building a video unit.
They even have a pretty good Mic. with them, slide your selector all the way over.

No where near as simple as a reg still cam build. I had a few hundred still cams under my belt before I got into the video stuff. Hope it goes.well for you Airman. I will help anyway I can.....

I'm still trying to just get an idea of what all I got to have and do. I'm not getting much time to research right now. It may be a little bit before I start but hopefully not to long.

You need to figure out what you want ,a DXG or jazz I think there are a few more, getting the Mic. right seems to be one of the big problems
And hooking up the array.
Jim just built a pretty little video build, not sure if he posted it here or not..

Well I've got a BF array and a DXG 125 on the way. I got to get a case ordered. I still don't know what mic to use and how would be the best way to power everything.

I have determined one thing. These things are more expensive to do than a still camera. Well, the way I am doing it us anyway. I was hoping to come out under $200 but I don't think that is going to happen. I think I will have a hard time squeaking in under $225. One thing I definitely want to do is take my time and try and get it right.
