Fisherman drowns in Watauga River

guys, please be careful and wear you life vests. make sure your friends wear theirs too. otherwise you could be the guy who watches his friend drown b/c he wasnt wearing one and you were.

That's awful. My thoughts go out to his family.

Standing up in a canoe with no life jacket is dangerous business.
