Don't have a recipe for it, but my Pappaw fed it to me when I was a kid. Don't remember how he cooked it, but he diced it and put it in a pot of Mac and cheese. It was tasty.

I just salt n pepper and fry in butter till medium rare. Slice thin and remove the white around the top of the heart and remove the strings from the chambers. Try to flush out all the blood you can

Exactly how I do it, pretty good
 
I've only ate it a few times and it has been the best piece of deer meat I've ever tasted each time.
The last time I had it was from a friends doe earlier this season. I told him to cook it to medium rare. He had never prepared it and made me a burrito. Best burrito I've ever had. Hands down. It was amazing.!!

Yep slice it about 1/4 or thicker melt some butter in a pan. I whip 2 eggs up and dip it in egg roll it in flour salt pepper and brown it. Dang good eating.

I made fajitas with it once. It was good, tasted like deer meat, but the texture was different than skeletal muscle. Hard to describe...more rubbery, but not tough. Finer grain too

Ok I made it. It was really good. Got to share it with several other hunters at our church hayride who also had never tried it. I just cooked with olive oil with some steak seasoning on it

Wash it it out real well. Then soak it in ice and salt water for 5 days. Trim all the white stuff and arteries off. Chunk it up. Soak it in 50 olive oil, wosterchire triple splash, and water. Italian dressing works too. Marinate a few hours. Stir fry/sautee with onions or mushrooms. Tastes like filet from a Japanese restaurant- and as tender. Now I'm hungry after typing this

Season any way you want and cook to a rare to slightly medium rare.
