Venice trip

Went for 4 days last weekend and ended up with 8 bull reds and a monster black drum. Did get out to a oil rig in 125ft Thursday caught a couple nice red snapper and actually pulled up 3 trout off the bottom and a bunch of pompano before the waves picked up and we headed back into the bay.

Where'd you go to catch those fish?

I live in the Venice/Englewood area, and haven't been fishing in several months due to red tide.

Venice Louisiana, caught em in west bay. Looking forward to heading back next month. Gonna try and see if I can get on some tripletail and some trout.
