Do you critter killers look at topos as much as I do for deer hunting? As many of you know, I SUCK at calling varmints! 
I need some feedback please.
I do believe a lot of my bad luck has to do with the fact that I can't see much more than 50 yards in the hilly young hardwoods and tree farms I hunt. There are no open areas where I've been hunting.
I have a different lease, a cattle farm, that has these wide open hollers (in white) surrounded by mature trees (in green) .Each holler is sort of like a bowl surrounded by treed ridges. My buddy and I are going in the AM with the mindset that we WILL call something in! We have several hand calls, but I think we'll stick with the electronic caller my buddy made from the advice on this Forum.
Unfortunately, we've got 10 to 12 mph S to SSW winds in the morning. Can any of you pros look at the map and tell me where you would hunt? I was hoping to have 4 sets calling across each of the 4 open hollers.
Where do I set up? On the edge of the woods calling across the holler? With the wind in my face? Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. I'm all fired up!!!
