how do you get 27,5 grs in a 223 case,,do you use a drop tube or what??

26.1 is level out the top of my cases

all my data says 27.5 as max??????????????

Back when I was loading 55gr pills I would neck size only. I was able to get 27gr of Varget in the cases. I would settle it as best I could by shaking and tapping the case. Then I would let the bullet do the rest. You will here a lot of crunching when you seat the bullet. The manual says Compressed Load and means it!

I just set the dump to 26 and loaded them about half way up the neck,,

just wantin to try it out with 55`s to see what it will do,,I have a "bunch" loaded with 23.2 grs H322 with 55 gr bullets and I dont see Varget being a 55 gr powder,,just fooling around.

but with the 69 Sierra ,Varget was the best I tried,

I have 100 cases sized and primed I am going to try the 75 AMax and A2520 and the Varget powder with,

FL sized for Rem R15 using WW cases

A lot of guy's on the Fire shoot the 75gr AMAX might want to look around there...here is one thread on them. I'm about to get my LTR punched and I'm going to give them a whirl. Plus they work great when doing the 75gr A-max/75 grain Swift swapola from my readings. The 62gr TSX @ 3,400/fps is very appealing as well. Good luck...what twist is your barrel?
