Value question

I don't think I am going to try and sell it on here because I only know of like 2-5 people on here that are anywhere close to me and I an not shipping the thing. I have a CVA Optima I am thinking about selling. It is blued with a black thumbhole stock. It doesn't have the quick release breech plug. Will come with a TC power rod cut to length and some CVA bases and mounts with a cheaper Simmons scope. Gun has on spot about the size of a match head where the blue came off for some reason. Other than that it's in excellent shape. Never left over night without being cleaned after it was shot. I know muzzleloaders don't have a good resale value but I need a starting point. What are your guess as to what it's worth.

Well, since your in Moss, why don't you put it on www.gunownersclub.com. There's a lot of people that check that site out all the time and a lot are local or not to far away. Most will be happy to come and look at it or meet you somewhere. Hope you sell it.

That's where I was probably going to list it so maybe more people close by could see it. I just didn't really know what to ask for it.

Price it about $200 or so and see how that goes. You've got a complete setup, so I'd try and see what kind of responses I could get at $200-$225. You might look on www.gunbroker.com and see if anybody on there has one for sale. That would give you a good idea on price.
