VA bans deer urine attractants

CWD prions can be passed in urine. Deer urine comes from deer farms.

People would just get sneakier about playing the rules. For example, I keep meaning to try just liming and fertilizing a field of weeds. I've read in a lot of places that would make a significant difference in deer usage compared to the same field with no fertilize or lime. After all, regardless of how much we plant food plots, deer get most of their feed from wild sources - i.e. weeds. Another idea I always intend to do is to lime and fertilize some of the fencerows around my shooting house especially where honeysuckle is growing thick.
