Headed to Utah for an any bull rifle hunt. Have any of you guys that hunt out west had any experience with Ashley National Forrest? Going out a week before the hunt to do some spotting and scouting. This will be my 2nd trip. 1st time was in Colorado, so know a little about what to expect.

Thanks in advance.

I bow hunted the wasn't he mtns this yr and came home with a small Muley. Look near soldier summit for good elk

Only hunted Mule deer in Utah and that was just north and east of I-70 / 15 junction. Best of luck. There are some real monster elk in Utah.

Did some research, it appears to me you are in the Unitas range, never heard it referred to with Ashley name. Like in Colorado this time of year, Hunt the north side in the afternoon, southern side in the morning and with no snow, get up high really early in the pre-dawn.

California Guy I hunted geese with killed a Unitas Range Bull that was so large he had to build an addition to his house with a 12 foot ceiling to display the mount. Best of luck.
