I totally expect the vols to be much improved this season, just pointing out that EVERY offseason, THIS is the year the vols will "shock the world". Eventually wrangler, they will.

What do you expect from a predominantly following of Vol fans? You choose to post on a board dominated by TN fans, but you question their optimism?

Go to any football board and see what their fans are saying in the preseason (well, except for the Vandy boards, because there are probably only 2-3 posting, and they are the realists :D ).

Why even some Gator homers can look through those blue glasses and see them winning the East this year ;) :D !

BTW, this guy looks like a great pickup. We are finally pulling even with the upper echelon teams and are starting to stockpile some serious talent.

I can't see UF winning the East but I do believe that UF will beat UT in the Swamp.

I believe the last 3 years were the Vo11s best chance at beating UF. UF had zero offense and depended on their "D" to win games.

I'm not even sure that some of them actually watch the vo11's games or can name the players on their team. I have no problem watching their games, knowing their players, and listening to Vo11s sports radio. I feel like that if I'm going to talk about a subject, I should know something about it.

I'm not shocked that many Vo11 fans know nothing about the Gators each year but some how they know the vo11s will beat the Gators. We know how that has worked out.. ⑩
