Do any of you use 209 powder in a T/C Black Diamond 45 cal ML. if so where do you get the breech plug with the sealed end as stated by Blackhorn to be required? Also can it be used without a stronger plunger spring 0r can the conversion be made for use in the Black Diamond.
Bought a can and now confused if I can use it in the Black Diamond. Thanks.

I don't believe the gun you have has a sealed breech/breech plug......the gun itself has to be designed that way, you don't purchase just a sealed breech plug.

I believe the stronger plunger spring is being used to prevent blow back of the plunger after the gun has been fired, hence the sealed breech.

Alterations of a weapon is at your own risk.................

Stick with the FFF black powder and clean it very good after every time out shooting and you will be good to go.

I think I will just sell the Black Diamond. I have a Savage that I use but was going to give the BD to a friend if I could get it going with the Blackhorn. He is not good at cleaning any of his guns.

I think your talking about the sloted breech plug around the primer on that one,you might try checking with TC to see if they have different type for it.
