This is the first year I have tried to grow an upside down tomatoe. I grew a cherry tomatoe on my deck this year and it has done very well in spite of the heat we had this summer.

Looks like you did good with them. Did you put something around the stem where it goes in the bucket? I tried one last year in a bucket and it was a dud.
 
Yes, I had drilled a two-inch hole in the bucket and put a coffee pot filter around the stem to keep dirt from falling thru the hole.
