Saw a large, fresh rub and a fresh scrape this afternoon. In 15-years, I have never seen a scrape and maybe three rubs total. Also, I have never seen as many tracks as I'm seeing. No wonder I am seeing deer every time I look up.

Saw three tonight but no shot. Left early cause the wind was just swirling everywhere. I'm thinking Thursday morning.
 
I'm seeing tons of scrapes and rubs showing up on every property I have to hunt.
 
My place is loaded with fresh scrapes and big rubs. What's up with that I've never seen rubs this early on my place before.

The place I hunt is like that bowriter I haven't found a scrape on it in 5 years and only a few rubs. I don't think many if any deer actually stay on this place but just pass thru it every couple days as I have been all over it in jan and fen and never found any beds. Also not any oak trees.

No, not a typo. I see bucks every year. In the last two years, I saw no sign they rubbed or scraped. It has been that way for 15-years and is not an aberration.
 
I thought I was alone in this. I have been on my place for 14 season, I have seen one scrap and maybe a dozen rubs over the years. I dont understand why, and have even posted about this last year, I think most members that replied didnt believe me.

Is this only on one property? That is still weird, but at first I thought you were saying that you had simply not seen a deer scrape in fifteen years, period which would be hard for me to understand.
 
No, just on that one property. I have seen quite a few and made quite a few myself back when I was messing with mock scrapes.
