Unopened Triple 7 pellet box life

I have an unopened box of Triple 7 Magnum pellets from this January. Will these still be potent next fall if I decide not to shoot them?

I am just finishing up a box of Triple 7 pellets from two seasons ago. I keep them in ziploc back in a ammo storage container with other powder.

I have not had one single problem with them.

Yours should be fine.

I have loose powder that's 4 years old and never had a miss fire yet.

I have some that's over 2 years old that still work fine. Mine are in my ammo box in my closet.

As long as no moisture got to them you should be fine. I would shoot a load w/them prior to taking them into the woods just be certain though.

Even w/loose powder, I make sure the can I used to hunt with is the same one I last shot at the range.

I've heard that powder that has been opened loses some velocity. I wasn't sure if the same applies for unopened powder or pelets.
