Unloading help

Will be using BH209 in my new Optima V2 this year with the Barnes TEZ 250 sabots.
If I feel I need to unload between hunts those Barnes bullets are too darn expensive to shoot stumps with.
Wandering how messy it is going to be to push the BH209 thru the breech threads.
Maybe using the BH209 I will not need to be concerned about reloading between hunts.
Any thoughts ??

Personally. I would load it up and keep it loaded until the end of season. As high as bh is it'll get expensive if you pour it out after every hunt.

The only way i would unload is if i hunted in a pouring rain. I kinda miss having the split muzzlenloader season and think what we have now makes more sense but times have to change

keep it loaded. BH209 has a water proof coating on it where it will not absorb moisture like triple 7 or pyrodex.

Do you remember when it was a two day season? Oh keep your muzzleloader loaded.

ml season is 2 weeks

i would not hesitate to keep it loaded the whole time

I don't unload mine until season is over or I'm done for the season. I do leave it in my truck or garage and don't take into the house, course it's cold when I'm hunting.
