1. Who is Unit D big game (deer) contact in regards to voicing concerns about the ridiculous antlerless season. Sevier county to be exact.

2. what's the justification for having a 6 day 1 antlerless limit during gun season when 1 is 1 regardless if its taken Thanksgiving week or Christmas? I'm having a difficult time understanding why a 6 day season is needed when one is one no matter how you spin it.

3. Is there a way to get extra antlerless "tags" that would technically be out of season but still inside of regular season for owned property if you have done habitat improvements such as planted firebreaks, shrubs and pines as a part of usda/NRCS cost sharing programs even if those manmade improvements are what causing high antlerless numbers.

1. Call the wildlife division in Region 4.

2. TWRA biologists have years of hard data on how to set season s and days to meet harvest needs. I'm sure their antlerless kill projections are more conservative than yours. Allowing weeks of hunting for the one deer would yield a significantly greater harvest than a six day season. Probably not a good strategy for areas still recovering from a significant EHD event in recent years.

3. The only program I am aware of is a DMAP program. I believe, but may be wrong, that it requires a minimum of 1500 aces. If you are having deer damage, you can apply for a damage control permit.
