I am working on a property and the land owners want to a few food plots planted around not for hunting but wildlife viewing and benefit. I am already recommending a few clover patches but they also mentioned that they may want something more exciting. So i ask for a fall/winter plot, what would your ideal east Tennessee upland plot be. Managing for deer, turkey, and grouse are the main species of concern. Doing other things for the grouse.

Crimson clover, apache arrowleaf, winter wheat, winter rye. Keep it simple and use plants that are easy to grow.

depends on the soil and size, but hard to beat annual clovers and winter wheat IMO. Mayb throw in some chickory or cow peas as well.

the feeder Idea has been brought up, I have a alot of food plot Ideas just wondering what a dream plot may be. The used the terms "exciting, and different" so I was just wondering what ideas may be out there. We are gonna put in multiple plots of differing types. Just looking for different ideas.
