Got a report of 13# brown off the Caney today. Night crawler on the lower end. Pretty reliable source but no pics taken, weighed and released.

I don't doubt it. I hung into one at Betty's Island about 5 years ago in Febuary that I swear was over 20 lbs.
Now confirmed. Talked to the guy who caught it. No pic and doesn't want his name mentioned. Good fisherman, caught a 15# last year and I saw that fish. He has a rather unique technique and said he would kill me if I shared it.

Does he coach the night crawlers to look yummy when a trout swims by or Feed it a special diet for weeks to get it fit and ready for battle? I'll bet he used a worm blower to float it up off the bottom? A good worm blower is hard to find these days.
