UGA vs Vandy

DAWGS got embarrassed by Vandy last year, and I don't think that they will be overlooking them this go around. Vandy has a better QB than UT, so I believe that UGA will not hold them scoreless. I also feel that UGAs defense is its strength, and is the main reason that they scored 41 on UT, not because it has a great offense. I predict 24-10 UGA, but I hope that it's a wider margin than that, although it could also be closer.

17-10 or 34-13 UGA would not surprise me, but Vandy by 4 would.

I really expect Shurmur to torch the UGA secondary a time or three, and those big plays could lead to some points, but I expect the D to adjust and overcome.

I really feel like UGAs o-line will make them or break them this game. If they can impose their will then the UGA running backs will pound the rock, control the clock, and score a few points. I don't expect UGA to have a big day passing

And there lies the problem with us moving up into the "elite" class of college football. I really hope we can air it out some against Vandy. We will need that aspect of our game to come together before we face Florida or Auburn. I'll be on the 50 yard line if anyone is headed to the game Saturday.

Looks like things just got more interesting. Starting ILB Natrez Patrick was arrested overnight for wacky weed. This is his second, so it will cost him 4 games. Already kinda thin at that position, so we will likely have a couple of true freshmen get substantial playing time over the next few games

I agree... UGA is good but their defense allows the offense to make mistakes. Offense is good, don't get me wrong. But their defense is playing very well.
