since the Nationals are only 2.5 hours drive I am gonna go and shoot if for no other reason than to be able to say I shot in the Nationals,,there are upwards of 60 shooters already signed up to shoot and there will be more wait till they get there so there may be 75 shooters,,from all over the country,,dang good shooters,,world record holders,,

I took my time and loaded my ammo as close to perfect as humanly possible and all I got to do is stay calm and have fun and try and watch the pro`s and learn something,,I dont care where I finish and since I shot over 500 last w/e I am gonna move on to my next goal of shooting a 260 out of a possible 264 at 100 and no 9`s at 200,,

this Match is 100 yards on Friday,,6 relays and 200 yards on Sat 6 more relays,,gonna be a long 2 days,,most matches are Sat/Sun but the range is about 1/4 mile from a local church and the range owner doesnt allow shooting on Sunday and disturbing the members during their services,,

I am fired up and gonna just try and relax and have fun and shoot like I do at home by myself and I really believe I will be happy with how it goes,,

but if you want to wish me luck I will take all I can get,,

I dont in any way expect to win,,I just want to go shoot with the best,,with that many good shooters there will be a lot of tie scores at the top and 1-2 points could move you up or down 12-15 places,,as long as I shoot like I know I can wherever I finish will be fine,,

ouch,,,I shot about like I have been but dropped 14 points from the 506 I shot at State last w/e,,I had 7-8 shots at 100 that it took both referees to decide on and I didnt get but one of those and shot 252

at 200 there was a front coming through north of us just far enough that it didnt rain but wind was blowing from ever direction and I shot 57 and 58 during that and 61 and 63 after it blowed through for a 239

I finished 17th at 491 15 or so points back with 13-14 shooting 490-500 and then the guys that can shoot blind folded in the 506-508 scores,,

I have noticed something over the summer,,I can shoot close to the winners ,and even win when conditions are good to just fair but when they get fair to bad the old guys beat the crap out of you ,,
