Type and age ?

My best friend said his grandpa gave him this about 40 years ago and was wondering about it

Really nice looking piece. Can you tell what County it was found ?
Im not sure about the type but I know several collectors who can ID much better if they know a general location.
I want to say Hardove, or Plevna but there are several that look similar and Im only good at guessing but you can tell your friend its a great looking piece just the same.

Ehh not a dove, it's not old enough. It's gonna be hard to identify, but it's gonna be around the same age as Pickwick, ledbetters, bentons and that time frame of points.

I would say more than likely it came from Weakley County.

Looks like a dove tail by base and point has prob been resharpened multiple times , def a keeper but the main value would be sentimental
