TWRA field at Yanahli was empty...

The Yanahli dove fields were empty yesterday. Empty of hunters and doves too. First I went to my turkey spot around 3.30pm and the fields were overgrown but no doves. Then I went to the dove fields and saw what might have been 2 doves flying very far out of range. Overcast weather, plenty of crows but no doves. I did manage to shoot a gray squirrel while leaving my turkey spot. So many hickories there, I'm probably gonna kill quite a few tree rats in that spot. Good hickory nut production this year too.

Anyone still shooting doves before the segment closes?
