1. If you are going to shoot your guns don't shoot right someone else's property line. Had someone shooting right in my direction, at first I was mad, then a little nervous when I could ricochets getting close. Climbed down and sit behind my tree for thirty mins. Like over a 100 rounds!
2. Walking out I ran into coyote. Normaly a coyote will run away, not this one. I hit him with my light at about thirty yards, he just looked at me and walked into a old fence row. Freaked me out, just felt like he was following all the way to the truck, on the other side of the fence row. Has anyone else ever experienced something like this?

Uh, I know you were frustrated, but if you stop and think about that, you'd have to agree that wasn't the smartest way to react.

I've been peppered with bird shot before on public land. I heard a truck coming thru the pines, then a tailgate drop, then the words "Blackie! Blackie! Come here Blackie!" then boom boom boom, shower shower shower! I had a 30-30 that day but didn't return fire however. :/

#1 also happened to me last year. A house that borders the farm started firing one afternoon in gun season while I was out there. They were shooting toward the family farm. I could hear the whizz of the shots. I was shot at a bunch in iraq and know how it sounds. I ran back to my truck spinning tires heading up the road. Jumped out and started yelling. They wont do that anymore. #2-never had one do that. usually they take off running for parts unknown. unless Im armed, then they dont go anywhere.
