two questions.....

I am looking for a place to stay for about 12 guys in the Carthage area. We used to visit Hillside Cottage by Barkley Dam but that is not an option this year or the last two years for that matter. We will need to have truck / boat parking for 6 rigs.

Can you still fish below Kentucky Dam from the bank? Looking at a trip this spring to do some snagging down there

There must be a Carthage Ky,cause Carthage Tn is now where near Ky lake.

There are places to rent on the Caney Fork not far from Carthage especially if you know the backroads. Other than that, closest place with decent accoms is probably Lebanon. Maybe someone on here can steer you to something by CH Dam. You might call Joel at Big Rock Market if anyone on here has his ph. #

If your going that far,from Il I assume,why not go ahead to Dale Hollow?Lots of places to stay right on the lake.Cedar Hill,Horse creek.

As far as CH,I think Cove Hollow has Cabins,not sure.Bowriter would know I would think.Edgar Evans State Park May have cabins as well.Think they do.But bring what you need,very little around there as far as stores.
