I've found reading many books, that, herbal remedies can do wonders! I was taking warfarin to prevent blood clots. My son told me that turmeric does the same thing. The VA tests my blood INR every 4-6 weeks to make sure it's between 2-3. When I started taking Turmeric, I told them about it, they then adjusted my warfarin to lower dose and cut down the amount of days to take it.

That would be interesting, as NO drug or treatment has ever been found to be effective against prion diseases. Prion diseases are 100% fatal.
