Still waiting to get the bass boat back so we took out the little jon boat. No electronics at all. Only motor was a minn kota trolling motor. Never got more that 300 yards from boat ramp. Caught a lots of pregnant females full of eggs- released those. Kept 3 males, all jet black. Kept about a dozen big bluegill for dinner. Wind blew us everywhere but the bite was on.

In the cooler lol.
In the cooler. Cleaned the bluegill first and took that pic of the black crappie before i finished up

I take it if you caught males they must have been shallow. Which lake or what part of the state.
This was a TWRA lake in middle TN- Coy GAither lake. Females were deep. Males were on the banks. Ciaght 4 males, one was short. Caught plenty females but all were full off eggs
