Turnip Question

We talk alot about deer not hitting turnips until after the first frost, in most cases. My question, simply enough, is do turnips continue to grow after the first frost, or are they stunted?

Their growth slows, but they continue to grow.

And I'm fine with that, FH. I'm looking for a good food source for them after Thanksgiving anyway, since I won't be back in TN to hunt after then. It's just that I'm not going to be able to throw seed until thursday, and wondered if I should expect anything other than rape to make it. Thanks guys.
