Sounds like the man likes his turkey hunt'n a lot, HA !! enjoy it while ya can, lifes short.

I thought about not going this year but have been seeing all kinds of birds, kind of gets the fire burning.

Would make for some serious bragging rites to take a gobbler with a stick & string.

Tickweed is one of those that puts 200% into his hunting.
After missing the season last year, it's kinda gotten out of my system. Looking to getting it back.

I killed a jake yesterday morning with an old H&R Topper single shot 20ga that was the first gun my dad ever got for me. Now that the pressure is off I can try and get one with the ol' stick and string. Birds haven't been responding to calls at all here around the house, they'll eventually work their way over to a decoy set but nothing as far as vocals once they fly down off the roost. Maybe this warm snap will get them fired up.
