came home from grocery store today. pulled off of 11-W to climb the hill to the house. came up to the stop sign, and there stood a danged turkey in the intersection ! she got out of the road into neighbors yard, and i turned into my driveway to unload groceries. told my oldest boy i had seen a turkey in the street, and as i was doing that, looked out the back window to spot another hen pacing up and down my fence trying to follow the first one. see deer here late nights/early pre-dawn mornings (LOTS of acorns), but never turks before ! cool...
