In Arkansas our season opened on Monday April 21st and we are only allowed to take one turkey the first 7 days of season and then we can not hunt again until this coming Monday, when we are allowed to hunt again. We are allowed 2 birds per season. I took this bird within the first 3 hours of the hunt. He gobbled off and on since daylight but was on the neighbors property. He finally came to my property and came in silent and made a big circle around the live hen already in the food plot. When the hen saw him, she headed the opposite direction and he never really payed any attention to her anyway but he worked within 20 yards of my position. The rest is history.
So tomorrow, I'll get out of turkey timeout. LOL
