Well, my foot and ankle still isn't right from my break and tearing all my tendons and ligaments while turkey hunting last year. It still hurts, swells, and lacks movement in a few directions. I went back to the doctor a couple weeks ago. The good news is that everything is still healed OK, but the bad is I have scar tissue affecting my movement. He's got to go back in and scrape the tissue out kind of like you clear a knee. He said that I'll be down at least a week. Just in time for turkey season.

I'll probably have to miss juvenile weekend which my son isn't happy about but hope to get him and myself out before it's over. Oh well, it has to be done.

Be careful out there as it can happen in an instant.

Wish you were closer I'm looking for a juvenile to take.

Appreciate that. I hope to get him out before it closes and still may be able to on the juvenile. I'm going to try but listen to the doctor as well.

Surgery today went well. I will be on crutches for a week and will miss a few days of work. I'll probably miss juvie next week especially since all of my places are steep hills to climbs. :) We will see how it goes next week but will hopefully at least get him out for the regular season.

Glad your surgery was a success, I'm praying for a speedy recovery. As hard it will be at times, follow the doctor's orders to a tee. Keep us posted on your progress and update us if your son shoots a turkey.
