I just got my Tennessee Wildlife magazine and I noticed there are no WMA turkey hunts, besides youth, in the normal locations (Shelby Forest, Wolf River). I rarely hunt public land anymore but I'm curious what the reasons are.

TWRA temporarily suspended the West Tennessee Quota Hunts due to flooding along the Mississippi River floodplain destroying nesting habitat.
