What calls have produced for you this year?

I've had the most success with Halloran's Crystal Mistress and Hook's Executioner 2 and Game Changer 3.

I was having some issues and I ran a scotch brite pad lightly over it. Helped tremendously.

The pool cue chalk did not work for me, when I went back to green scotch brite it made all the difference. My oldest call came with scotch brite and now they come with the chalk which I don't recommend or care for.

1 died to the Halloran walnut slate and 2 died to the Halloran Twisted Sister.
Going to try my best to kill the next one with the checkered short box if I can.

Oh no the infection has spread to your calls as well. Nothing houndstooth will touch my body and certainly not go in my mouth. Wretched pattern and wretched symbolism

Knight & hale silver queen and cedar striker called them up to a trespasser sat morning! Does that count? Even though he missed too! :livid:

New here but not new to the turkey world. A lot of the Oxidized Aluminum comes from the same place. There was a batch where the surface was too slick. Your call could have been out of that batch. Darrin makes a great call. If you use the scotch pad it will help out. I even sanded my personal call to enhance the sound.
As for which call has been working for me is a Turpin Style Hen Box, Water Buffalo Yelper and Extreme Kee by Kinder.

Matt builds a mighty fine call those Maple calls at JT's are killers for sure. You have a very good call from a great guy. IMO

Matt is a good friend of mine and a top notch call maker. I have about 8 pot calls a trumpet and a couple of his tubes. Hes a hidden gem for sure.
