Still working just like brand new. Admittedly it only grinds about 3 deer a year

My Daughter and a Church friend asked for some ground venison so I pulled a measured 40 pounds out of the freezer.

I opted to trim a little silver skin but I got tired and just started feeding the grinder. Coarse plate was done real quick. Fine plate kept me busy changing plates as the silver skin clogged them up.

Other than that, no problems. Hmm wait. Time has not caused the grinder to get quiet. It is noisy. Efficient, but noisy. Yes, I wear Silencio's, it is noisy.

I learned that the ring has to be tightened with the wrench not just hand tite. when I started doing this it stopped getting clogged with silver skin.it just cut it up and I suspect when it does start it will be time to change the plates. glad yours is still working good, going to try to find some thing to put in mine about daylite :D

It eats some deer meat pretty quick, I usually just use the fine plate and don't have much issues with silver skin.

Another 30 pounds through the Turbo Froce and the Open Country dehydrator is cranking out some nice jerky.

Still no issues of any kind.
