Tuesday reports ?

Anyone have anything to report today ?
Rain is suppose to move out between 11-12 today so im gonna head out here shortly and sit till dark.

Ok.....evidently no one hunted this morning !!
I will give a report then, left house at straight up noon and didnt even make it all the way in my ladder stand and had two doe step out !! Still had 3 steps to go so I stood there, they walked in, I finished climbing. All situated and 5 minutes later had two more doe and a spike walk in from opposite side directly in front of me. Less than 20 minutes on stand and have seen 5 so far.

Herd of deer out in cut grass field on city property.... Oh the things I'd do to be able to hunt there. Seems they are out in that field every rainy/cloudy day.

Buddy of mine killed a nice buck here in Bradley county this morning. It was wet out.

I didn't go this morning because I drove my 18yo to Chattanooga for a flight from clay county. Got up like I was hunting but a 5 hour round trip bout killed me. I took a long nap when I got back.
Figured I'd sit in the blind tonight. Saw nothing. Sister in law sat in a ladder overlooking a ridge with a saddle on opposite side. She said a doe came out at 4pm about 60 yards away. She said it kept running in circles like a chicken (her words) then it finally crossed fence and left...

No movement for me in middle TN this afternoon. Woods was dead quiet. Right before dark some squirrels started running around but besides that, notta.

Went to one of the ladder stands on our lease watching a green field two does were there when I got there. Made it in the stand they didn't pay me any attention then about 45 mins later two more does came across the field wide open but nothing ever came out behind um and then saw a flock of 36 turkeys.

I saw a 6 point around 2:30. The only other thing I saw was rain.

Ended up seeing 8 from the stand and two out in the field when I got back to my truck.
Also saved one from being shot off the road....grrr
As I was coming out of the bottom I could see a truck up on the road stopped, I eased on up beside the tree line and when I got about half way I nailed my fourwheeler !! When I hit the gap at the road they floored it and took off, I couldnt get a plate number but could identify the truck in a used car lot with all the stickers they had on it !! I went on to my truck which someone had pulled in and pulled back out leaving mud tracks on the road that were still wet, loaded up and drove the direction they went and seen the buck had slipped thru the thicket (prolly because of me coming up on atv) and crossed the road.
Man that irritates me......There are occaisions that I do hunt on the backside of those woods with the kids and they are not that thick. I deal with this every year it seems like and feel like I know the buck, seen him numerous times last year slipping up that away before shooting light to cross the road. I think I will put a camera up !!

I had two small does come in behind me this morning and then work back up the hill, before the wind picked up in Rutherford co. once that happened, it was over.
