TSS question

I turkey hunt with a break action single-shot 20 gauge I got for Christmas when I was a kid. The barrel is full choke. With #4's at 25-30 yards, it does the job. If something works, why change it, right? When TSS came out, I really didn't pay any attention. However, now I'm trying to do more yote hunting. In some instances, a shot gun is the only option. Based on what I've read, TSS should get much better penetration and deliver more pellets to the target, thus it sounds like a much better option for yotes.

Here's the question: Do I need to be concerned about the harder TSS pellets damaging my barrel?

Unless you are 100y old (and your gun is 90yrs old) you should be fine. The wad should keep the shot away from the barrel anyways. I've heard #5 TSS is some bad medicine for yoties out to 80y.
