Trout streams

I will be up visiting my brother in Powell Dec 14 - 20 and I would like to try to get some trout fishing in maybe. I was wanting to know if there is any good trout streams in the area that wouldst be TOO far a drive. I don't wanna be driving over an hour really. ANY help would be appreciated.

clinch river. when you get here, you can call 865 632-2264 for the generation schedule at norris dam. this is not very far from powell at all.

Holston River below Cherokee has become a popular trout fishing spot as well. More bank access on the Grainger Co side.
